2K - $117K a year 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago On the LE2 project, oversee the performance of all field construction activities for assigned work scope areas and subcontracts in conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
-Supervise and manage contract management oversight of Mechanical installations, welding and welding practices, understanding of P&IDs.
Provide oversight of mechanical work performed, including work schedules, project progress, resource allocation, and safety.
-Coordinates construction subcontractors within the assigned area of responsibility.
Typically responsible for numerous multiple areas, and/or may include coordination of other contractors/ subcontractors.
-Plan and coordinate the work activities of all involved subcontractors for assigned construction scopes in alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, construction equipment, and materials -Assist with management of contractor activities in conjunction with contracts administration group -Monitor the work activities schedules and manpower requirements to meet established completion dates together with optimized productivity -Approve or authorize the coordination of subcontractors, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules -Oversee all activities with a driven focus on change management and project controls elements -Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed -Manage construction equipment as required, including planning, monitoring, and controlling such as needed to assure safe and efficient construction execution -Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities -Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across the business line, functions, client and locations -Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action -Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines -Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards -Adhere to and support FFPO's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies -May need to travel to attend to business related matters -Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality -Other duties as assigned -Typically serve as lead person to coordinate all activities within their assigned scope in an active construction work area -Coordinate and implement indirect activities, internal and external, required to support a productive construction execution; including functional staff support, support subcontractor, activities, and any other resource necessary to assure a safe and quality execution -Generally responsible to assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance with all pertinent requirements -Assist in establishing risk factors to the success of the Project and assist in mitigation of the risk to ensure construction is performed safely and in accordance with the Contractor's baseline schedule.
-May represent the company as the senior staff position directly overseeing and responsible for the assigned work performed by construction subcontractor.
Job Opening and Closing Dates 8/03/2023 - 8/27/2023 Qualifications -Directly related Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)experience equal to 13 years superintendent experience including contract management oversight of Mechanical installations, welding and welding practices, understanding of P&IDs.
Thirteen (13) years of EPC experience providing oversight of mechanical work performed, including work schedules, project progress, resource allocation, and safety.
-Significant experience in creating daily reports monitoring the progression of the work, document equipment and manpower of the Contractor and monitoring the conduct of the construction contractor employees -EPC experience in oversight, supervision, and contract/subcontract management.
-Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
-Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
-Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
-Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Qualifications:
-Proven ability promoting outstanding customer service and client relations -Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution, communication, and leadership -Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs -Competency in administrative functions related to project and office operations -Functional proficiency in project controls, human relations, industrial relations, and contract management as it applicable to assigned area of responsibility.
-Demonstrated strong decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to remain calm while taking charge in critical situations.
-Demonstrated ability of scheduling and planning adherence.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
