Customer Care Supervisor This position will train in our Houston office until approximately March 2023 and then will be located in our new Freeport location Are you a customer service professional with a passion for excellence? Job Description:
WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Customer Care Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers' requirements are met through data capture, analysis, and reporting.
You'll have the opportunity to communicate with senior management, customers, and carriers, and liaise with shop floor management regarding production, inventory, and key performance indicators.
In this position, you'll develop procedures and conduct training for our inventory management system, and as part of the Management Team, you'll help us achieve our site objectives in key performance areas such as EHS, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Employees.
You will also:
Oversee a staff of 3-4 Customer Care representatives.
Perform critical, independent decision making that directly influences workflow and processes.
Prioritize and coordinates production activities between Wallenius Wilhelmsen personnel and customers.
Become a trusted liaison between operations personnel and the customers to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and efficiently.
Responsible for internal and external reporting being sent in accordance with required schedule.
Job Requirements:
WHAT YOU'LL NEED We are seeking a talented individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, who can convey accurate information in a professional and timely manner.
As a valued team member, you will have independent judgment and discretion, a strong work ethic, and the ability to execute safe and efficient operations.
You will also possess strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work with people in a multi-cultural environment.
In this role, you will be expected to execute corporate values professionally, innovate, share knowledge, and identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
You will also be able to manage time effectively and handle multiple assignments safely.
Strong logical thinking skills and effective process development are essential to ensure efficient operations.
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills are a must in this role, as you will be responsible for reporting and data driven decisions.
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE Minimum three (3) years practical experience as a Supervisor in an office environment supporting a fast-paced production facility.
