We need YOU! Where the Chemistry Happens BASF Freeport, Texas Site is seeking an administrative professional with demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills to support the Laboratory Services and Exposure Reduction Process (ERP) leaders.
The ideal candidate is results driven with excellent attention to detail, highly skilled in both verbal and written communication, and possesses the ability to identify and solve problems to resolution.
As a Associate IV, You Create Chemistry By Bring responsible for Procurement activities and invoice processing (Work Cycle, PR's, PO's, etc)' ensuring that high value invoices are paid on time at the correct amount.
Following BASF protocols and maintaining necessary procurement and invoice processing documentation.
Helping troubleshoot/resolve Work Cycles issues.
Planning and procuring supplies for Site and Laboratory Services teams.
Maintain corresponding records.
Retaining appropriate records per document management guidelines and acting as a documentum publisher for Laboratory Services.
Managing the Freeport Site Letter Reports Database Maintaining and updating department website, Sharepoint and Teams pages.
Managing & updating various Site Services email distribution lists.
Supporting the Site & Laboratory Services teams with administrative and miscellaneous tasks.
Assisting new employees with access rights, email, IT equipment, SAP, phone, PPE, etc.
Compiling documents in Microsoft Word, presentations in Microsoft Power point, and spreadsheets with formula / pivot tables / analysis capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
Coordinating & Catering of department meetings If you Work well under tight deadlines and perform multiple duties simultaneously.
Effectively interact in team environments.
Have strong interpersonal skills.
Have a strong attention to detail and are able to produce a high-quality standard of work.
Work with the understanding of a high degree of confidentiality.
Perform and follow-up in various projects and administrative functions for the department requiring both specific and general administrative knowledge.
