- Perform general janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility - Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors - Empty trash cans and replace liners - Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies - Dust and wipe down surfaces - Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed - Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment Skills:
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners - Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met - Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time Please note that this is a general overview of the duties and skills required for the position.
