HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (Includes but not limited to, John Deere 624 & Forklift) Heavy equipment operators use machinery to move and mix product and other heavy materials at a work site.
They control equipment by moving levers or foot pedals, operating switches, or turning dials, as well as some computerized controls in some more modern equipment.
Operators may also set up and inspect equipment, make minor adjustments, and perform minor repairs.
For this position, a payloader will be used to load production equipment and bulk containers, so experience operating a payloader is required.
This operator will also perform minor maintenance and assist in other areas of production from time to time.
The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety, team safety, and environmental awareness at all times.
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
Qualified candidates will be able to pass a criminal background check, substance abuse test.
