1K a year Control Systems Migration Program Coordinator Burrow Global is seeking a Project Coordinator for a long term assignment at a client facility in Freeport, TX.
Our client is undertaking a multiyear migration of their legacy process control system across the plant.
The program includes all aspects of the migration from programming through field work and commissioning/start-up.
The Project Coordinator role facilitates the communication and documentation between all resources of the migration team.
Responsibilities Assist Project Managers and Engineering Leaders throughout the entire lifecycle of the project (i.
e.
Request for Bids, Front End Loading through Commissioning/Startup) Ensure all communication regarding scope are formally captured and communicated to all team members and interfaces.
Detailed responsibilities include:
Facilitate/lead multiple weekly meetings as part of the Project Management Support Team (PMST).
This includes coordinating agendas, facilitating the meeting, tracking action items and providing meeting minutes.
Participate in specific projects, ensuring project teams have necessary documentation for FEL work, preparing agendas for Kick Off meeting with EPCs, ensuring EPCs get required documentation via coordination with Document Control, and coordination of milestone and panel design reviews.
If needed, assist Project Managers with Project Specific Action Item Logs, Decision Logs and RFI Logs.
Maintain core documentation for the migration program - Including Lessons Learned, Risk Register, RACI, Roles and Responsibilities, Action Log, FEL Checklists and Staging Area Inventory.
Interface with contractors, EPCS and other vendors, client safety/badging requirements and shipment coordination.
Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Represent the PM in meetings as directed.
Key Skills Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Familiar with the project stage gate process and the FEL (Front End Loading work process).
Possesses good organizational skills, excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and good team working skills.
Basic understanding of all the parts of the migration process and how they fit together.
Basic understanding of chemical processes is a plus.
Comfortable with both in office and plant environments.
Ability to deal with uncertainty and pressure.
Works well with others, within a team, and takes accountability.
Qualifications High School Diploma AND 3
years of On the Job training.
Technology Degree is preferred.
0-5 years of experience in project execution and project management/administration.
0-5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals or adjacent markets, site assignments preferred.
Legally authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
