Electrical Estimator will be responsible for the delivery of cost estimates of Electrical and Instrumentation Installations.
Responsibilities:
Read scope of work and deliverables needed for RFQ.
Read and interpret Electrical & Instrument discipline engineering drawings and specifications.
Provide detailed Electrical & Instrument estimate support for assigned projects.
Assist with detailed Electrical & Instrument estimates for Industrial Construction Projects.
Estimate, solicit, negotiate and finalize prices for materials, supplies and sub-contractors.
Assist with creating proposals for projects to include assumptions & clarifications.
Requirements:
Minimum 3
years of Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Estimator experience.
Team player able to work effectively with other estimators, engineers and project manager.
Electrical Industry Standards knowledge.
Excellent written/ verbal communication skills.
Comfortable with fast-paced work environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and documentation/ procedural skills.
Must pass a Background and Drug screening.
Safety and detail focused.
Preferences:
Electrical estimator experience in petrochemical or industrial plant.
Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Word.
Degree or certifications associated with job role a plus.
High school or equivalent (Required) Working conditions are as follows:
