Operations Job Summary This position will be accountable for the requisitioning, requirements and all processes related to requisitioning, for the Company's business group(s).
This role includes the routine execution of tasks associated with planning, scheduling, expediting and executing requisitioning for the business, to ensure the correct material and rental services are obtained.
Location/Travel Information:
This position is based at the Quintana Liquefaction Facility (LQF) and/or the Pre-Treatment Facility (PTF) site with travel to all off-site warehouse locations as required.
This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired, driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Supports the business groups in the creation and management of Purchase Requisitions within the SAP system Assist in the creation of both planned and critical/emergency requisition requests Supports the management of multiple activities across the lifecycle of the subsequent Purchase Order including raising requisitions, amending requisitions, reporting, invoice reconciliation, receiving, issue resolution and close out Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials within or between departments according to the requirements Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed material and/or service changes Monitors warehouse materials inventories and orders, tracks progress of maintenance work order activities, and reviews and communicates delivery factors that could adversely affect schedules Coordinates and prepares material requisitions based on work orders and schedules Performs various control activities including the gathering and filing of records, reporting use of materials, monitoring internal orders, and advising/posting schedules of materials reserved and/or on order Performs SAP system searches by vendor, material, MRP, requisition, contract, and purchase orders Identify, track, and expedite materials Assist with the ordering and expediting of non-stock materials and parts Track and coordinate the maintenance of rental units and test equipment Facility, in-plant, trips as required to walk down an area of need, delivery of materials as required, and/or location of rental unit's verification Essential Functions Experience in plant activities including shutdown/turnarounds, material reservations, resource allocation, and assisting with Maintenance planning and scheduling needs Experience with plant materials required for operations Possess working knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM), Finance (FI) and (PM) Plant Maintenance modules and Work Order management experience Working knowledge of SAP modules related to the warehouse, supply chain, and/or oil and gas industry Strong PC skills to perform proper documentation and reporting and should be familiar with and able to use and be competent in using MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Project Excellent written/verbal technical communication skill with good analytical problem-solving skills Active learner and a self-starter/motivated Able to be self-supporting, able to ask questions and retain training information Understanding of vendor/equipment supplied data sheets, drawings, technical specifications The employee must have the ability to drive a motor vehicle in order to perform the duties required at all FLNG locations Maintain security and control over the warehouse contents as well as vendor data Accountable for accurate record keeping of all transactions Education, Certification, and Experience Minimum Education Required:
High School Graduate or equivalent Minimum Experience Required:
Two (2) years SAP MM systems experience - procurement/materials management-related experience; Preferred Education:
Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience Preferred
Experience:
Five (5) years procurement-related experience; knowledge of oil and gas, petrochemical fields, SAP procure to pay implementation experience including knowledge of the procure to pay process would be highly regarded Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc.
